It seems like the Pakistan Cricket Board and the controversies always go hand-in-hand with each other on most of occasions. A similar sort of stuff also happened recently after the former Director of the Pakistan Men’s Cricket Team came up with some shocking remarks about the new regime of PCB under the leadership of newly appointed chairman Mohsin Naqvi.

Hafeez’s social media post from his official X-handle (formerly Twitter) came up just a day after the PCB ended its association with Mohammad Hafeez and relieved him from his responsibilities as the Director of the senior men’s cricket team. He also came up with a few accusations about the new PCB regime.

“I always prioritised and represented Pakistan with dignity and Pride. I accepted the new role as a Director of PCB with great passion to make positive reforms but unfortunately, my designated tenure which was offered by PCB for 4 years was cut short for 2 months on account of new chairmanship,” wrote Hafeez in his recent X-post.

“Best wishes for Pakistan's cricket future. As always, I foremost take responsibility and put myself accountable for all my executions in my given time and will accordingly reveal all the cricketing and other amateur non-cricketing facts which ensure bad performances. Stay tuned,” he added later.

Here’s a look at the recent X-post from Mohammad Hafeez:

Earlier, just a day ago, PCB announced the end of the former skipper’s short tenure of 2 months as the Director of the Pakistan Men’s Cricket Team. The Cricket Board also came up with a gratitude message for Hafeez.

“The Pakistan Cricket Board extends heartfelt gratitude to Mohammad Hafeez, Director of Pakistan men’s cricket team, for his invaluable contributions. Hafeez's passion for the game has inspired players and his mentorship during the tour of Australia and New Zealand have been of immense importance. The PCB wishes Hafeez good luck and success in his future endeavours,” read the tweet shared from the official X-handle of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
