Young India U19 batter, Musheer Khan is enjoying a golden run of form in the ongoing Men’s Under-19 World Cup 2024 in South Africa. Musheer, who is currently active as the number 3 batter in India Under-19 during the U19 World Cup, impressed everyone with his amazing batting in the super-six clash against New Zealand in Group 1.

Musheer smashed 131 runs off 126 balls, hitting 13 fours and 3 sixes to help India post a good total of 295 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

A double dose of happiness in Khan family

Notably, Musheer Khan is the younger brother of the star Indian uncapped batter Sarfaraz Khan who has been in amazing and sensational batting form in First-Class cricket for the last couple of days. Elder brother Sarfaraz also got his maiden Test call-up in India’s squad for the upcoming second Test of the ongoing five-match series against England. 

Coming back to Musheer, he has produced some brilliant batting performances in the last three innings in the ongoing Under-19 World Cup. The 18-year-old scored a half-century against USA U19 in the last group match of India U19 after hitting a brilliant century against Ireland U19 in India’s second group match of the tournament.
